ArrowQuest Archery Summer Program – Summer 2026
9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. | Helen Morgan School, Sparta, NJ
ArrowQuest Archery Summer Program returns for its second year, offering students entering grades 4–6 a fun and focused introduction to archery.
Students will learn proper shooting technique, develop accuracy and concentration, and build confidence through structured instruction and hands-on practice. Activities include traditional bullseye shooting, skill-building challenges, and creative novelty targets.
The program is led by Marco Vergara, one of the coaches of the Sparta Archery Team, and is designed to create a supportive environment where every student can improve. This is an independently run program and is not affiliated with Sparta Public Schools or the Sparta archery program.
ArrowQuest is offered as two separate one-week sessions:
Week 1: July 20–24, 2026
Week 2: July 27–31, 2026
Students may register for one or both weeks. Instruction is designed to support both beginners and students with prior archery experience, with activities adapted to help each archer build skills and confidence.
Week 1 emphasizes core archery fundamentals and is especially well suited for students newer to the sport. Week 2 continues skill development and is open to all experience levels, including returning campers and students with prior archery experience.
The program is held indoors at Helen Morgan School in Sparta, NJ, with access to outdoor space for lunch and breaks.
Each session is limited to 12 students to ensure safe supervision, individual coaching, and plenty of shooting time. Sessions are structured as small-group instruction blocks to provide a focused, safe, and engaging experience for each student.
All archery equipment is provided. Students should bring a snack and water bottle each day.
Registration is now open.
